mp3Tag is meant as easy-to-use multifunctional viewer and editor of mp3-tags (ID3v1 and ID3v2).

mp3Tag is a tag processor for MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, MP4/AAC/M4a files with great features, like an automated search for lyrics and pictures (album covers); tags import from Amazon and FreeDB.

Another important advantage is the automatic tag filling option, which works great for mp3 albums that come without tags and meaningless file names, like 01.mp3, 02.mp3, 03.mp3, etc.mp3Tag is a viewer and editor of mp3-tags.

mp3Tag takes the track lengths and compares this information with FreeDB data to find the appropriate album to import tags from. After confirmation the information is stored in the tags and if required can be used to rename the files.

mp3Tag allows the users to view and edit tag information, save lyrics and pictures inside MP3, M4a or WMA-files, view technical information about music files and delete unused MP3-tags.

mp3Tag is capable of changing one or more tag fields simultaneously (including multiple files), generating WinAmp and Windows Media Player playlists, exporting tag information, renaming groups of files according to their tag data and much more. And special feature for iPod lovers – m4a tag editor!

mp3Tag allows to:

- view information saved in mp3-tags;
- edit the information;
- simultaneously change one or more fields of a tag for several files (for instance, name of an album);
- save lyrics (text of a song) inside mp3-file;
- rename group of files so that new names are created from parts of mp3-tags, using custom pattern;
- create mp3-tags from parts of file's name and/or using directory's name;
- play files without any other program;
- view additional info of mp3-file;
- use Drag&Drop technology;
- use different interface languages (currently English, German, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian).

After registration you'll be able to use all program functions that are blocked after expiration of trial period:
- Scan and process subfolders.
- Add your formats.
- When saving in mp3-tags the title "Created with mp3Tag" won't be added.

Limitations:

· You can get only 50% of lyrics from the Internet.
