File/Folder Description Center is a cataloging system that helps you easily view and keep descriptions of folders and files, ZIP and RAR archives, WWW HTM/HTML pages. 4DOS compatible file format: Descript.ion, File_id.diz, Dirinfo. Access to files versions, files attributes. Easy to use: right click on filename in Windows Explorer.

If you click right mouse button on folder or file name in Explorer or other Windows'95/98/2000/NT4 shell you'll see in menu 'File/Folder Description' item. Choose it and FFDC window will open and it will display file description from file with descriptions.

Also FFDC looks for description inside ZIP and RAR archives and if it presents FFDC displays it. All descriptions FFDC keeps in separate database. So if you
will copy or move file to another location FFDC displays his description. If you'll locate database at the network drive you can use it from any PC connected to the network. FFDC can create a list of all description files on your PC or in
FFDC database.

By default description filename is 'Descript.ion', but you can change it to any or add another filenames (File_id.diz, Files.bbs, etc.) This is FFDC description file format (choose it from Properties window):
