DSR-TaskRunner is a system and development utility to facilitate batch operations and automation of numerous tasks with unlimited scalability user definable variables, extensive options, and thorough logging.

Each task is run in its own thread, yet variables are maintained across the entire task list. When it is necessary to copy files, compile multiple software projects, move files, send messages across the network to various people, or run any set of miscellaneous tasks in succession.

DSR-TaskRunner is able to simplify the process, keep a record by logging the results, allow you to export to a batch file, and save both time and effort.

One customer has a requirement to compile over 250 Visual C++, Visual Basic, and Visual Studio .Net projects and log the results on a regular basis, sometimes daily.

To do this with a bat file would take hours, to do it manually would take days. But, with DSR-TaskRunner they simply click on the execute button, and the entire process is accomplished automatically. The projects are compiled, the results are logged, and a message is sent across the network upon completion.

They no longer have to spend their day sitting in front of the build PC. In addition, if using windows 2000 and above, task lists can be scheduled to execute automatically at a specific time and date without user interaction by using the integrated "Windows Scheduled Tasks" interface.
