ZipIt! - Script based utility program to create ZIP files.

Quick Start

Use the file sample.zit in the installation folder as a template for ZipIt! Script files.

Command line

ZIPIT [[-s] script_file_list | @response_file]

-s - silent (assume overwrite)

script_file_list - list of ZipIt! Script file names
response_file - contains command line

If there is no script file specified on the command line the user will be prompted to choose one.

ZipIt! Script File Format

[Output]

Path = zip_file_name Name of the ZIP file to be created or added to

Compression = n n = 0,..,9 compression level (optional, default: 6)

Password = password Password for encryption (optional, default: no encryption)

Option = n Overwrite option for existing zip files (optional, default: 0)

n = 0: The ZIP file will be update, i.e. newer versions of existing entries will overwrite older ones
n = 1: The ZIP file will be overwritten after user confirmation.
n = 2: The ZIP file will always be overwritten
n = 3: Insert timestamp in zip_file_name


[FileList]

file_specification [/s] List of files to be added, possibly containing wildcards. Use the optional switch /s to include all subfolders.
